Chambers guitars can be customised to suit your playing style and your physical build. The construction process always begins by exploring exactly what you're looking for in terms of sound quality, playability and aesthetics. With these things in mind I can personalise various aspects of each Chambers guitar model to suit your needs. Specific options will depend on the model in question but in general, these options include:

Design & Components

  • Neck profile – D, C, soft V, Classical
  • Neck – carbon reinforced giving stiffness & stability, and with a 2 way truss rod for accurate set-up
  • Nut width – customisable to requirement
  • Saddle string spacing – customisable to requirement
  • Scale length – 632, 645, 650 and 655 mm
  • String gauge & tension – guitars can be designed for any gauge/tension you require
  • Fingerboard
    • Ebony bound for a smooth feel (no fret end protrusion)
    • Fingerboard radius choices of 16”, 18”, 20” or flat
    • Classical models have mid-neck relief and bass relief for a level saddle
  • Intonation – compensated saddle and nut for an in tune guitar
  • Neck to body join – at the 14th, 13th or 12th Fret
  • Cutaway – for high note access
  • Bevelled arm rest – for comfort and to prevent soundboard damping
  • Tuners – Waverly, Blake Robson, Gotoh Premium, Sloane, Rodgers
  • Set-up – careful set-up on an accurate and true fingerboard
  • Headstock – slotted & solid
  • Body sound ports into the upper bout of the side
  • Laminated extra stiff sides
  • Finish – French polish & lacquered
